MedSoft’s Previous Findings Report
With the 5/18/18 release, MedSoft’s Previous Findings Report feature is live.
What is a Previous Findings Report?
The Previous Findings Report is a summary of key information from the last 3 exam dates.
The report has 3 sections:
- Objective Findings from exams
- When the therapist completes an exam, he/she has an option to check boxes next to measurement data to “Include in Previous Findings Report.”
- Once this box is checked, the preference is stored for that patient. If an update is made at a later exam (or in an exam addendum), the report will update to show the most recently selected check boxes.
- Outcome Measures
- Outcome Measure scores will display from all tests taken during the last 3 exams.
- This does not need to be selected within the exam; it will always display on the Previous Findings Report.
- All Outcome Measures from each of the last 3 exams will display; if 4 measures were completed at each visit, the Previous Findings Report will display 12 lines of information
- Pain Scales
- Pain Scale information from the last 3 exams will display in the bottom section of the Report.
- This does not need to be selected within the exam; it will always display on the Previous Findings Report.
How Do I Access the Report?

Can I send this report to my patient’s Referring Doctor?
